PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
[Product Introduction]
Grease Trap : A device that filters FOG (fat, oil, and grease) discharged from restaurants and kitchens. When the wastewater produced in the food treatment process passes through this Grease Trap, it separates the grease using buoyancy created by the difference in oil and water density. This product prevents the oil from flowing into the sewer, which causes the reflux phenomenon. It can also save on costs related to repair work and prevent wastewater from flowing into the sewer and causing environmental pollution.
Grease Trap(E) is a little different from an existing M-43(D). It is smaller than M-43(D) to lighten the burden of surface area of the product. Unlike M-43(D), floor shape was changed depending to the size of Grease Trap(E). Friction between inflow wastewater and 90° elbow connected inlet surface makes vortex phenomenon with external air through the air-intake-hole. Wastewater flows down to the inclined surface and passes it. F.O.G(fat,oil,grease) float in the middle of the product. Because of the density difference, the F.O.G is separated from the wastewater. A baffle in front of the outlet makes the debris like food waste filtered. By passing through the baffle, the water is discharged through the outlet.

* Superior separation ability *
1. Air-intake-hole on the cover facilitates the flow of the water. Also, it helps F.O.G(Fat,Oil,Grease)to be separated fast.
2. To adjust the air-intake amount, the user can adjust the air-intake regulator depending on the circumstances.
3. Sight glass on the cover helps the user to know when to clean the seperated F.O.G. It prevents F.O.G from overflowing.
4. Locking levers on the edge of the cover make the cover fixed tightly with the body. The cover is easily detachable from the body by using the levers.
5. Rubber ring is attached inside the cover. It blocks the occurred inner gas and odor from coming out of product.
6. A baffle in front of the outlet makes the debris like food waste filtered.
7. With corrugated rubber packing at the inlet and outlet, there is no leaking problem. Also it helps the builder to work in simple way.
8. As the whole material is reinforced plastic, the product is strong at impact and damages. Unlike stainless products, there is no corrosion and rusts.
9. It is semi-permanent.
